(New!) Setting up a POP Email Account on your iPhone

To set up a POP email account on your iPhone:

The first thing you need to do is make sure that the email account has already been set up on your hosting account, by creating it in your control panel.

You should test this email account once it has been created by logging into www.getmymail.com.au first. 

 

SET UP EMAIL ON IPHONE

 1. Go to the home screen on your iPhone. Select Settings then find and select Mail within settings. Select Mail Accounts, then scroll down and select Add Account.

 2. Select the small blue text choose from a list Add Other AccountMail Account. Ensure POP (Top RHS) is selected.

 3. Enter the account's name, email address, password and description (optional, will auto fill).

 4. Under the Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server headings, input the following:

Host Name - www.getmymail.com.au  or mail.apexhost.com.au 

Username - your email

Password - your email's password

 5. Select Save 

 

ACCESS YOUR EMAIL ON IPHONE

 1. Go to the home screen on your iPhone. Select the mail app.

 2. Select your email account you added.

 

MAIL SERVER SETTINGS 

 

POP3 settings/ports
SSL/TLS is recomended

Incoming port is 995 (SSL enabled)
Outgoing port is 465 (SSL enabled)
Mail server is serverxx.hostbusters.com.au (replace xx with your server number)

Please ensure you have SMTP authentication set to on. (same user/pass as incoming)
