(New!) Creating and Managing an AutoResponder in cPanel

An autoresponder will send a message back automatically to anyone who sends an email to a certain email account.

 

To create an autoresponder in cPanel:

 1. Login to the correct cPanel for your domain and select Autoresponders under the Email heading.

 2. Select Add Autoresponder and enter the name of the account to which you are adding the Autoresponder in the box marked email.

Note: If you have more than one domain make sure you are setting up the auto responder in the correct domain.

 3. Leave Character Set set to utf-8.

 4. Enter the name you would like to have appear on the auto message email in the From box.

 5. Enter the subject of the auto response email in the Subject box and fill out the Body box with the message you want the autoresponder to send.

 6. By default, the message will be in plain text. You may want to check box next to This message contains HTML to send it in HTML.

 7. Select Create.

 

To manage/delete your autoresponder:

From the Autoresponders page in cPanel you can update any part of your autoresponder(s) by selecting Edit, or delete them by selecting Delete.
