(New!) Creating Custom Error Pages in cPanel

This article will guide you on how to create error pages for 404 Not Found errors and 500 Internal Server Errors, along with 28 other errors.

To create custom Error Pages:

1.Log into your cPanel, scroll down to Advanced and select Error Pages.

2.Select the type of error page you want to create.

3.Customize the error page. You can include one or more of the listed tags to further customize the page and also use HTML tags in your page, making it easy to match the look of your error page to the rest of your web site.

4.Enter the text you want displayed into the large block. e.g. ‘The page (then click on the "Requested URL" button) is unavailable.’

5.Scroll down and click the Save button. Review the error page and select the Go Back button.

6.When you’re done, log out of cPanel and close the page.
