If have your domain managed by an external provider and have the DNS/Emails/Website for that domain hosted with Apexhost, you will need to get them to point the domain to our nameservers.
The technical term for this is called domain Delegation.
To delegate your nameservers to Apexhost:
1. Contact the registrar. Give them the following nameserver details:
If you have a Windows space:
ns1.dnsserver5.net
ns2.dnsserver5.net
If you have a Linux (PHPMySQL) space:
serverxx.hostbusters.com.au
serverxx.hostbusters.com.au
(Replace xx with your server number. These details will be in your setup email.)
VICE VERSA
If have your domain managed by Apexhost and have the DNS/Emails/Website for that domain hosted with an external provider, you will need to get us to point the domain to their nameservers.
To delegate your nameservers to an external provider from Apexhost:
1. Contact your DNS/Email/Website host and request they send you their nameservers. The hosts will probably be in the form of ns1.yourhost.com.au and ns2.yourhost.com.au
2. Log into the Apexhost Client Area and go to My Account > My Domains > View Details > change name servers in Name Servers section.
3. Click 'Save Changes', and our system will save your new details.
Note: You must enter at least two nameservers for your domain for it to be active
OR
2. Contact Apexhost by emailing us at support@apexhost.com.au or by creating a ticket in the client area and send through the nameservers of your DNS/Email/Website host.
3. We will change the nameservers in our portal to point to your DNS/Email/Website host.
Please note redelegation may take up to 24-72 hours to become visible on the web.
